About

I’m a product designer who turns AI capabilities into trustworthy products. At Vianai, I was one of five people who built an experimental GenAI platform for conversational data analysis—before the company had a clear product direction. That experiment validated product-market fit, became our flagship offering (hila), and scaled the team from 5 to 50+ people.

I combine deep enterprise B2B experience with hands-on technical prototyping. I prototype with code (React and TypeScript), which means I can quickly test interaction patterns and work directly with engineering teams. I’ve built everything from developer tools at Microsoft to AI-powered design automation pipelines using Claude’s API. This technical foundation lets me design with a realistic understanding of what’s possible—and what’s worth building.

My background spans developer tools, enterprise platforms, and AI products. At Microsoft, I designed performance diagnostics tools for game developers, created management tools for dev console fleets, and pioneered interaction patterns for the Kinect for Windows SDK—defining gesture-based conventions for a technology without established paradigms. At Vianai, I’ve focused on making powerful ML capabilities accessible to non-technical users while ensuring the AI outputs are trustworthy. I believe the best enterprise software disappears into people’s workflows rather than demanding attention.

I’m drawn to problems at the frontier of AI interaction design: How do we make AI reasoning transparent? How do we give users agency over AI behavior? How do we design trust into systems that are inherently probabilistic? The gap between AI capabilities and usable AI products is where I want to work.

Outside of work, I’m a coffee enthusiast with a home espresso setup that’s probably overkill, and I’m building a mobile AI app for financial coaching. I’m based in Seattle.
